The publication of an article in Food Biology incurs an article processing charge (APC) of $50 (Fifty US dollars).
Articles are accepted or rejected for publication solely based on merit (after the peer review and revisions). The APC will be charged to the author(s) upon acceptance of his/her article and the payment options will be notified to the corresponding / submitting author.
There is a provision for partial waiver if the authors are from Low-income or Lower-middle-income economies as defined by the World Bank. The APC waiver should be requested in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org and approved from the Editorial Office of Food Biology before submission of article.
The Food Biology does not have an article submission fee.
