Payment Policy
Articles published in Update Publishing House’s journals are open access. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the provision of online journal management tools, web hosting and article production costs. The APC payable (mentioned on each journals’ page) is agreed as a part of the submission.
APC will be invoiced to the corresponding author (who is responsible for making the arrangement of the payment) or to the institution when an article is accepted editorially after peer-review. But, it should be paid before publication.
The invoiced APC can be paid through a credit/debit card or direct bank transfer within 30 days. Authors are advised to pay $25 additionally for the wire transfer to meet the bank charges. Receipts will be sent to the corresponding author on request. The Publisher is right to add applicable taxes during invoicing.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
The APC will not be refunded if the articles are withdrawn/cancellation of publication process (after paying the APC) by authors or retracted due to data error/ misconduct/plagiarism. The APC will be refunded to the author if an error is found from the publisher's side and not rectified within 90 days. A refund initiated can take between 15-20 working days to reflect back in your account. The authors should notify the publisher immediately if they paid any excess amount. Refund of excess payment will be done to the same account within 15 working days.
